Promising up to 80-times faster internet with his ambitious venture Reliance Jio, top industrialist Mukesh Ambani today said his group has invested Rs 1.5 lakh crore in this initiative -- the biggest-ever for any digital startup globally. Ambani also said Jio would target to expand the high-speed internet coverage in the country to over 90 per cent by 2017, but remained silent on the exact commercial launch date of the much-awaited service.
The offer gives customers free unlimited voice, video calling, SMS and unlimited daily data. While TRAI wants the free offer ended by December 4, Jio has assured customers the free offer will continue till December 31, 2017.
However, new customers who buy a Jio SIM post December 3 might be not able to get the free offer and will have to try out the paid tariff plans. We suggest you to get a new sim before December 3, if you haven't brought it yet or you will be missing all the funn
